CROP Hunger Walk

For the fifth year in a row, the Cathedral will be participating in the New York City CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, May 1st, a citywide effort to address hunger and poverty here and throughout the world. Members and friends of the Cathedral are needed to serve as walkers, volunteers, and sponsors.
The Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity has been at the forefront of efforts in New York City to help those who are hungry, thirsty, naked, and poor. By joining our CROP Hunger Walk team, either as a sponsor or as a walker, you can participate in those efforts.
Last year, we raised $3,391 as a team to help eradicate poverty at home and abroad. This was the second highest total among all participating churches in New York City! Through your support, we can break through this year and reach our goal!!
Please join us in the Cathedral Center on Tuesday, March 22nd, at 9:00 p.m. for a brief organizational meeting. After a brief video explaining the CROP Hunger Walk, attendees will have the opportunity to register, receive collection envelopes and information to share with sponsors. Walkers will also learn how to easily setup their own web pages to invite sponsors via e-mail!
Visit the Cathedral's page on the CROP Hunger Walk website (www.churchworldservice.org/goto/archcathedral2011) for information and to sign on!
