FOS LENTEN RETREAT

The first Lenten FOS Retreat, Avatars of Spirituality: Rediscovering the Parable of the Prodigal Son, was held on March 12-14, 2010 at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center, a new retreat center nestled in the tranquil woods of New Hampshire. The retreat, led by Fr. Frank who also designed the program, encouraged participants to contemplate Biblical and modern day prodigals and the choices we make for our lives. Other presenters included: Fr. Luke Veronis and Fr. Alexander Chetsas who both serve parishes in Massachusetts. His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston also spoke to the group and Fr. Theodore Barbas, Chancellor of the Boston Metropolis, also attended. Participants also included many young adult professionals from the Boston Metropolis for a total of approximately 70 people.
